Marli Sarecky

Therapy is a space where clients can deepen their understanding of themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and grow in meaningful ways. My role as a therapist is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe sharing their stories and experiences. I value building a collaborative relationship with each client and tailoring sessions to their individual needs and goals. Together, we work toward creating meaningful change, strengthening coping skills, and fostering lasting growth and healing. I am a licensed social worker in Maryland, Virginia, and DC, with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have extensive experience supporting college-aged students as they navigate the transitions, stressors, and identity development that often accompany this stage of life. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, with an emphasis on helping clients identify and build upon their existing strengths while developing healthy ways to cope with life’s challenges. I was born and raised in Maryland and earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. I received my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my dog, traveling, doing arts and crafts, and being with friends and family.
