Dr. Lovingly Park is a licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist and Filipino American therapist who takes a holistic, culturally responsive approach to care. She brings an integrative understanding of brain-behavior relationships and psychological healing to help clients navigate challenges and lead more empowered, fulfilling lives. Dr. Park specializes in motivational interviewing, a collaborative and client-centered counseling approach that helps individuals resolve ambivalence and reconnect with their inner motivation for change. This method is particularly effective for clients navigating anxiety, depression, and chronic health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and asthma, as well as those working through culturally layered experiences of self-doubt or self-silencing. In addition to motivational interviewing, Dr. Park integrates supportive psychotherapy, which emphasizes building a safe, affirming space where clients can openly explore thoughts, emotions, and life transitions. Her approach is warm, strengths-based, and deeply collaborative. Dr. Park works with individuals experiencing a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, and relationship stress, as well as cultural identity exploration and cross-cultural dynamics. She supports clients navigating adjustment challenges related to immigration, evolving family roles, and the pressures of living between cultures. In addition to her work in psychotherapy, Dr. Park has extensive experience assessing and treating neurological conditions such as brain injury, stroke, dementia, and epilepsy. As a Filipino American therapist, she brings a culturally attuned lens to her work with Asian American and BIPOC clients, with a deep understanding of how cultural stigma, high achievement expectations, and intergenerational dynamics can affect mental health and emotional well-being.
