I provide a nurturing space for people to freely express themselves and treat conditions based in the biopsychosocial model. Meaning that mental illnesses often have a biologic component (e.g. related to genetics, hormones, neurotransmitters), psychological (e.g. related to life experiences) and occur in social contexts; all aspects are considered and addressed to alter the course of psychiatric illness. I make evidence-based treatment recommendations that are based on each unique individual''s symptoms and life history. I attended UC Irvine for medical school and completed residency training at Kaiser. I have experience working in private practice with teens and adults at the Mind Study Center in Pasadena and at Sunshine Psychiatry in the valley. I am very excited to be serving the community!
