Jenna Romano Nieva

My name is Jenna Romano Nieva, LMFT, and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in helping couples and individuals move forward and find fulfillment after painful or traumatic experiences. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I utilizes a body-based technique called Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to support the rebalancing of the nervous system and the learning of new, more satisfying patterns of behavior. I also have experience working with dissociation and dissociation spectrum disorders. Specialty areas include complex-PTSD, relationships impacted by trauma in one or both partners, and nervous system "hijacking" of all kinds (panic, rage, shut-down, etc). Having a background in the performing arts, I particularly enjoy working with performing artists and entertainment industry professionals.
