Danielle Cornacchio

Dr. Danielle Cornacchio is a clinical psychologist specializing in treating young children with anxiety and related disorders, and behavioral disorders. Dr. Cornacchio is a PCIT certified therapist, and has particular expertise in treating OCD, selective mutism, and early childhood anxiety and behavior problems. She uses evidence-based treatment strategies (e.g., exposure therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, PCIT) to treat the children and families that she works with. Outside of the WaveMind Clinic, which she founded and directs, Dr. Cornacchio also currently serves as an attending psychologist at the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, in intensive programs serving youth with OCD and younger children with a variety of mental health problems. Dr. Cornacchio received her bachelor of science degree from New York University, her PhD in clinical science in child and adolescent psychology from Florida International University, and completed her clinical psychology internship at UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
